Abbey Starr creates custom wearable artwork tailored to your specific measurements and vision. Abbey will work closely with you to bring your vision to life, whether it's a dress, skirt, top, pants, shorts, bags or a unique abstract piece (curtain, pillow, quilt, throw, etc) for your home or office.
The custom order process is designed to help you relay your vision for your item as well as provide custom measurements for an exact fit. Whether clothing or home items, the process is the same.
1. Contact Abbey using the website form, by email, or by phone at (678) 310-4489
2. Set up a virtual fitting. The cost is $50 for a session that is approximately 20 minutes long. During this session all pertinent measurements will be taken and you will have a chance to discuss your specific requests for the fit of your item. During this time you will also describe your vision regarding color and pattern. This $50 is non-refundable but will go towards the final cost of your item.
3. No show virtual fitting will only be rescheduled with an additional fee of $50. 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule will not incur the extra fee.
4. Turnaround time varies and will be discussed during your virtual fitting, however the time starts at 14 days or 2 weeks and can extend up to 6 weeks during the summer months.
5. Shipping: once your item is finished you will have 48 hours to look at and approve photos of the final product beforeI send out your item.
All items are sent via USPS PriorityMail and require a signature confirmation.
6. Payment: I accept CashApp, Venmo, Credit and Debit cards through Square Payments. No cash. No Money Orders.
7. Payment schedule: after your fitting you will pay 1/2 of the estimated cost including sales tax for the state of Georgia as well as the fee for shipping. There is no handling fee. The remaining balance (if you pay 1/2 and not full price up front) must be paid before your item ships. Shipments go out 1x per business week but shipments should arrive in 3 days or less once shipped.
8. Refund or repair. You have 36 hours (3 days) after receipt of your item to contact me with any issues- fit, damage incurred during shipping, or dissatisfaction with your item. I will re-fit any item at no cost to you. I will help you navigate the post office red tape if your insured package is lost, stolen, undelivered or damaged. I will work with you on all issues to resolve in a timely manner.
9. After 3 days you may return your item at your own cost for a 50% refund, up to 14 days. After 14 days I cannot accept your return.
10. Custom Order contract must be agreed upon and signed digitally by the customer before work begins on your custom order. Contract protects both seller and buyer.
